The most notable aspects of the TickIT Scheme are: ¨ TickIT auditors have actual experience of IT development, and are familiar with current IT ¨ There are additional guidelines for use by TickIT auditors when carrying out assessments There are no extra requirements, the assessment standard is ISO 9001/9002. The guidelines interpret the requirements of ISO 9001/9002 in IT terms. A TickIT audit should take no longer than a non-TickIT audit. The difference is that you are assured of having an auditor with experience in the field, thus bringing added value.
