The aim of ISO9001:2008 (formally
ISO9001:2000) is to give improved product, process and service quality and can lead to increased productivity with a reduction in waste.
IMS gained UKAS Accreditation (number 078) in 1998 for a limited
number of scopes but have developed and grown the range of
industries covered over the proceeding years of accreditation.
Many organisations successfully achieve ISO9001 certification, but do not always gain the most from it.
Many organisations tend to gain certification just to have the
UKAS Certificate on the wall and don't apply the management
principles behind the ISO 9001 standard. At IMS we aim to
highlight the benefits of maintaining your certification and
seek business improvements and streamlined processes.
IMS strives to approach certification with clients as a partnership.
Without compromise, we will push our role to the limit, and ensure that you not only see the competitive advantages of certification, but also the increased operational efficiency, the improved documentation, fewer customer complaints, and greater employee awareness.
Certification tells your clients and potential clients alike that you comply with this internationally recognised standard. This helps to build confidence, it demonstrates your commitment to quality and helps include your name to approved vendor lists.
Certification promotes continuous improvement, and during our continuous surveillance visits we will help to ensure you achieve this.
ISO 9001 is an international benchmark; IMS certification gives you credibility at all levels worldwide.
All IMS International auditors
complete an IRCA (International Register of Certified Auditors)
Approved Training Course before being allowed to take part in
audits. They will build up a number of audits as part of a
team prior to auditing on their own, this ensures that the quality
and knowledge of the auditors is high from the off-set.
Whether you are considering certification as an essential trading requirement, as a marketing tool, or to achieve streamlined production and administration, applying the IMS solution will sharpen your competitive edge.
IMS can be found on the ukas.org website and listed as one of
the ISO9001 Certification Bodies.
